10-22-2009 • Rise from your grave! • In the news... Sandworms are playing this Friday in Brooklyn at Lulu's. They'll be accompanying Señor Nato Coles for a few songs. Check the shows page for details. • The Nojons are playing a Halloween-themed show at The Delancy on the 29th. It's in NYC. Bring your Zombie-stomping boots. • Finally, Sandworms are playing with Nude Beach and The Copyrights at Tommy's Tavern in Brookyln on Nov. 6th. The shows page knows all about it.
7-30-2009 • Sandworms are playing at Lost & Found next Friday (8/7) as part of Used Kids' album release show. Will definitely be a good time. • Additionally, The Nojons will be playing at the Night Owls record release show in Syracuse. 6-29-2009 • Pack your basket for the summer 'cause we're going on a musical picnic. • First, New Yorkers take note, Sandworms are playing their second show ever in Brooklyn this Wednesday, (7/1) They're going to try to have their new 5-song demo ready for this so check the shows page for more. • Next, Rejouissance and Red Tag Rummage Sale are embarking on their Summer Tour about a week later. A bunch of updates to their tour schedule have been posted on the shows page. • Lastly, The Nojons are scheduled to play a show in Syracuse on the 22nd of August. That info is also on the shows page.
6-9-2009 • Sand Worms have their first show on Friday, June 19th. Check the shows page for more. No band page for them yet, so take our word for it! The band is Jon from The Nojons, Michelle from The Steinways and Jim from Rejouissance, playing some rock and roll type reverb punk... or something. Don't think, just go! • Rejouissance and Red Tag Rummage Sale have announced their tour plans! Embarking on the 9th of July, they'll be taking a couple weeks to cover the nation. Check the shows page for the latest dates and info! •The Urchins of the Night CDs are not happening as expected. There are plans to press the album on vinyl but the details have yet to be hammered out so I'll hold off on commenting till we know more about it. Rest assured, the record will be repressed one way or another. In the meantime, check out the Urchins myspace page for some samples.

Dates will be up on our shows page as they become available. • A new band called "Sandworms", featuring members of Jonny Ninja, PPWG and The Overlooked will be playing their first show on June 19th in Brooklyn. Details to follow. • And finally, Lady Hornets' debut full-length "Wet Suits" is due out for release by the end of the summer. Electro Clashz not dead!
4-18-2009 • Rejouissance's new album "Moss on Monuments" is now available to order through our site! Also check their band page for two preview tracks. If you're in the Syracuse area tomorrow, go to their show at the Westcott with a bunch of other cool bands. • Red Tag Rummage Sale's "Body Maps" full-length is now shipping. If you pre-ordered the album, it should be there shortly. • And finally, Urchins of the Night should have copies of their debut album "Reentry" in time for their Syracuse show next weekend. That record should also be up here on our site soon.

2-13-2009 • We are very happy to announce Red Tag Rummage Sale has joined the Time to Operate label. Check out new video on their band page, as well as two songs from their new full length "Body Maps" recorded and produced by Devin Ocampo of Medications.The record will be released and available from our site in a few weeks and we are currently taking pre orders.
2-10-2009 • Quick band update. Urchins of the Night now have a band page on our site. (Click "bands" above to check the list.) Not much on the page yet but there's a link to the Urchins' myspace page where there are some demo tracks from their upcoming release. Check it out. • Additionally, Rejouissance is playing two shows this weekend. Saturday in Brooklyn with Mortals and Sunday in Baltimore at Charm City. Check the shows page for more. • (2/11/09) Also, as of today, we're not going to be offering the Nojons S/T 7" or the We The People 7" for free download anymore. Since we worked with other record labels on both of these releases, we discovered that it was kind of a dick move to have them here for free. Everything else that was there is still there but if you'd like either of those 7-inches, get the wax, bro!
1-30-2009 • Hey, happy new year. Recording sessions are coming to an end. Shows are being schemed. Good stuff all around. • Tomorrow! (Sat. 1/31) Don't miss the Rejouissance show in Purchase, NY. They're playing with a ton of cool bands. Among them, the mighty Pissed Jeans and my new favorite band, Cheeky. I would go to this if you're going to be in the state of New York. (Or Connecticut.) 12-10-2008 • Whew... So here, today, is the biggest site update since it was created back in early aught six. There may still be a few lingering bugs, but I should go to sleep, so... deal with it. Highlights of this update include:
• In actual news... Urchins of the Night are finally "going into the studio" this weekend to record their debut... recording. Whether it's a CD or a tape or a whatever, we're not sure yet. But it should be sweet. • Rejouissance is up next with their new full length. I heard some demos today and it's pretty awesome. Lots of flutes. Seriously... Jim's also got some mind-blowing stickers in the works, involving a water-skiing wizard. Also dead serious about that. • Aaaaand then The Nojons are *almost* ready to record that "late summer" full-length they've been yapping about. Any day now... it'll come flyin' at ya. • There have been a bunch of shows lately but they seem to spring up suddenly so keep a good lookout.
11-21-2008 • Shine up your mosh boots, gather your home-made merch and set all stoke levels to maximum. Bad Cops and Night Owls perform Saturday at Recess Coffee Shop in Syracuse. If you're in the continental 48... it's recommended that you attend. • Urchins of the Night have set a date to record their first... recording. 11-12-2008 • Shows shows shows shows shows. Starting tomorrow with the Time To Operate hatrick. Rejouissance, The Nojons and the triumphant return of Urchins of the Night. BAD COPS are playing their first show in... literally years in Syracuse next weekend. Night Owls will be joining them with, as I hear it, a mysterious new bass player. Show up to find out. 8-28-2008 • Quick update... The Like Rats/Urchins of the Night/Nojons show on August 29th has been postponed due to some unforseen bar renovation at Lost & Found. The rain date, as they say, has not yet been determined. Peel your eyes for an announcement about that.
8-3-2008 • Lots of things going on at Time To Operate headquarters. Know Nothing has a new full-length album, recorded at More Sound in Syracuse. It is very fucking good. CDs should be available through mailorder soon. There is a downloadable track from it on their band page. • We are pleased to announce the addition of Night Owls, Like Rats, Hill Bombers and Weightlessness to our site. All four have tracks available to download from their band's page. Physical tapes and CDs will be available soon through mailorder and download. • The Shape EP by We The People is available in the download section. Additionally, Andy, Gym, Jon and Swisher of We The People have a new band called Urchins of the Night. They're working on a full-length that will be out sometime in the fall or winter. Their first show will be August 29th at Lost & Found in Greenpoint. Details soon. • Nojons and Rejouissance are also working on full-length albums. Stay tuned for news about that. • Time To Operate is committed to pushing art and music to the very edges of time and space. 2-24-2007 • The illustrious Know Nothing now has their own page on this, the Time To Operate web site. Click the "Bands" link to discover! • As the Rejouissance/Know Nothing tour swept through Brooklyn on its nor'easter path, they left in their wake a grand collection of new recordings. The brand new Rejouissance EP is available for preview on their band's page, the brand new Know Nothing EP also has a couple mp3s to download on their new page. And if all that weren't enough... Ladies & Everyone have a track from their most recent EP up on their page. You should be able to order these records through the order page... fairly soon. • Rejouissance has a video up on their page from last night's show at the Banger Space. My camera stopped recording about 20 seconds before the end of the song... so there's an unfortunate fade-out in there, but... it's better than no video.

The new Rejouissance record will be available at all the shows and will appear on this web site soon. • Ladies & Everyone have a show coming up on March 10th. Welcome to show season. • The Nojons have started recording for a 7" that's supposed to come out on Punks Before Profits Records in mid-May. We'll keep you posted. 11-26-2006 • So The Nojons show that was scheduled for last Friday didn't happen. Sorry if you'd planned on going. • But fortunately, the show on December 2nd is still on. It is to be at Siberia. (Note: The show costs $10 apparently, but if you print out this flyer and bring it to the show, you can get in for $8.)
11-21-2006 • Jim and Jon from Bad Cops are currently working on a new band called Monolith with Damian from Sever the Hands on drums. It is very heavy... and it shreds (I can say this truthfully because I've heard some recordings.) Monolith are playing a bunch of shows next month so check out the shows page for dates and locations. They'll have their own page on this site soon as well as a demo CD out in late December. Keep your eyes peeled.
